Selwood House offers puppy school and adolescent dog training
Puppy training is offered for dogs between 8 and 16 weeks of age. The methods used are based on positive motivation and reward, as opposed training that may result in fear and aggression. The classes are also an excellent way to socialise puppies with other dogs and people.
Adolescent training is available for dogs 16 weeks and older. This training focuses on basic obedience such sit, stay and walk and learning behaviours in response to voice and hand signals. The adolescent classes also provide a safe, controlled environment for further socialisation. For more information about our Dog Training please contact the nurse or vet on duty at Selwood House.
